SSI React Right First Aid & CPR Training Course

We congratulate your decision to become better prepared to assist in an emergency situation. with the React right first aid + CPR & O2 oxygen provider you can combine this course with the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue program, and you will be even better informed about how to React Right when addressing diving emergencies.

First aid techniques are constantly being improved, making this First aid course valuable to both new and experienced emergency Providers. This course has two parts. In part one, you will independently study the course materials and complete the knowledge review questions at your own pace, in whatever learning environment works best for you.

Part two is a skill development session with an SSI React Right Instructor where you will refine and demonstrate your new first aid skills in realistic, scenario-based settings. During this session you will have the opportunity to ask any unanswered questions and will complete a written exam.

After completing all course requirements, you will be certified as an SSI React Right First aid Provider–a certification that will be valid for two years.

This course is not intended to replace a full length Emergency Medical Instruction course (for EMT or higher qualifications).

React Right is SSI’s emergency training program, consisting of the following basic components: Primary Assessment, First Aid & CPR Skills, Primary Stabilization Techniques, and includes two optional components: Oxygen Administration in Diving Emergencies and Automated External Defibrilation Basics. Students who complete this program earn the SSI React Right specialty certification.

Remember – Dive safe and don’t let just any anyone take you out scuba diving without asking to see their work permit and Instructor cards first.
