Our half-day snorkeling tour on our speedboat goes to the crystal clear waters around Racha Yai Island. One of the most popular venues visited by tourists to Phuket who want to try snorkeling.

Our join in catamaran has a capacity of 30 however for your personal comfort we only take a maximum of 15 passengers. We visit secluded bays so this trip has everything for those who want to avoid overcrowded boats

Racha Yai has some really good reefs for local snorkeling. The speed boat takes 40 mins to travel the 23 km from Chalong Marina to the island that’s South of Phuket.

This trip suits families as well as couples & singles, as the trip departs in the morning the snorkeling sites tend to have not so many snorkelers in the morning as most boats tend to leave the island at 1pm.

Racha Island half-day snorkeling visits great free diving spots, Bungalow Bay, Siam Bay, hosts many shallow-water coral reefs that make it the perfect choice for all levels

For beach time we can moor the speedboat at Siam Bay, it’s a great beach to visit, and the white powder sandy beach has gently sloping reefs that lead towards the clear waters, not many people go here so its one place we think most will enjoy.

Day trip Schedule:

• Depart 8.30 am from Chalong to Racha Yai Island
• 9.20am arrive for the first snorkeling session swim relax
• Lunch served at 11.00am Thai Menu
• 12.00 start the snorkeling session swim relax
• 1 pm The speed boat will leave Racha Yai Island and return to Chalong
• 1.45pm arrive at Chalong Pier
• Note that we may extend the trip to 2.30 pm return to the pier if we stop off at Coral Island

Snorkeling equipment

Mask and snorkel and fins are provided free of charge for snorkelers – Personal items to take with You are sunglasses, sun cap, sunblock/lotion, a camera beach towel.

Stay safe while on the Half day snorkeling trip

This half-day speed boat trip is suitable for ages 4 years up to 60 years. However, this trip is not available for a child under 1 year, pregnant women, or women who may be trying to become pregnant. This trip is not suitable for any person with spinal, back, or neck problems. The highlights of the trip are Snorkelling and swimming and we must recommend that you wear a life jacket at all times while you are in the water, the trip also involves walking on the island and sightseeing. The tour itineraries can be changed depending on the local weather condition. It’s will be decided by the tour leader and boat captain on your trip.
