The Refresher Program Theory Portion is made up of two components: 1 a knowledge and 2. in-water skills. The knowledge review portion of the course is fully digital. Divers choose one of two options for completing the dive theory portion of the program:

The Quick Review can also be administer to check whether the diver demonstrates mastery of the theory concepts.

The open water Scuba skills are:

• Mask removal and replacement
• Demonstrate neutral buoyancy and hover
• Emergency weight release
• Alternate air source ascent, with the diver acting as both donor and receiver
• Any other skills the diver would like to practice, or the dive professional feels they should need.

Minimum Age

Scuba divers can Refresh any certification Level the minimum age is currently set at 13 years old.

Divers can choose either swimming pool based practical skill assessment, half Day Beach diving (when conditions allow) or open water boat diving day trip as part of the course, meaning that you are spending a full day out diving with your Instructor .
