Our small diving boat is available for a private dive trip or a mixed group of divers and snorkelers and creates a program that suits everyone, there are lots of different sizes of boats available to charter but our Stingray Rib is ideal for those who looking to dive away from the 40 to 60 bigger boat trips. Our experienced captain and crew will ensure your satisfaction for the day, and make your diving holiday adventure unforgettable.

Phuket Private Speedboat Schedule

• Leave Chalong pier
• Arrive at Racha Yai or Koh Doc Mai
• complete 2 dives with a 1-hour surface interval
• Cruise back to Phuket arriving

Information about the dive boat.

A super-fast, stable, and reliable craft, the “Stingray” is often used by special forces military, coast guards search and rescue teams as well as a pleasure craft for diving or snorkeling as the boat offers exceptional stability and maneuverability.

The boat is a twin-engine catamaran at low speeds tunnels water and creates an air-cushion effect enabling the craft to rise quickly out of the water and to plane with ease. The twin hull construction increases stability and creates a more comfortable ride in choppy conditions.

Manufactured by Stingray marine in South Africa This boat has two Suzuki 90-hp engines that offer a normal cruise speed is 22 – 26 knots and 35 to 40 knots is the maximum speed. The boat has a two-gas tank containing 100 liters each fitted, Life jackets, and emergency Oxygen.

General Speed boat safety rules

Private diving charter trips are suitable for ages 10 years up to 60 years. However, this trip is not available for a child under 4 years, pregnant women, or women who may be trying to become pregnant. This trip is not suitable for any person with spinal, back, or neck problems. The high lights of the trip are scuba diving suitable for certified divers, while the boat is moving we must recommend that you wear a life jacket at all times. The daily diving tour itineraries can be changed depending on the local weather condition, this will be decided by the boat captain. Divers personal body weight is limited to 100KG

It is our recommendation to take a professional Dive Instructor / PADI Divemaster who can show you the best dive sites that the Andaman Sea has to offer as well as assure your comfort and safety. Phuket Dive Tours can offer this service free at no extra cost. We also can arrange for your own Private Dive instructors to teach Discover Scuba Diving experiences at some of the many shallow-water dive sites, this program has an age restriction limit of 10 yrs and above and is an additional cost.
