Racha Noi Scuba Diving Day Trip
The Racha Noi Scuba Diving Day Trip consists of three dives, two at Racha Noi and one at Racha Yai. This trip is suitable for Certified Licensed Open water divers and advanced divers who can enjoy a fantastic day of diving supervised by an elite Instructor. There is also safe, shallow water for non certified divers and snorkelers to enjoy.
Experience the thrill of scuba diving at Racha Noi, one of Phuket’s most spectacular dive destinations. This full-day adventure includes two dives at the crystal-clear Racha Noi dive sites and a third dive at nearby Racha Yai, known for its vibrant marine life and coral reefs. Expect visibility up to 30 meters as you explore underwater granite boulders, coral gardens, and sandy seabeds where you may encounter reef fish, leopard sharks, eagle rays, and seasonal manta rays.
Departing daily from Chalong Pier, this 3-dive day trip includes round-trip hotel transfers, scuba equipment, breakfast, lunch, refreshments, and the guidance of a certified dive professional. Whether you’re newly certified or a seasoned diver, this trip offers small group sizes, safety, and unforgettable photo opportunities—perfect for anyone seeking the best scuba diving Phuket has to offer.
We get to Racha Noi in style, using large modern steel dive boats built to modern safety standards that are better equipped to handle ocean conditions, making them a more reliable choice for dive customers. Food is cooked freshly on the boat and the boat is large enough for you to stretch your legs, sunbathe or sleep while visiting the dive sites. These big boats protect you from the wind, rain and the tropical sun.
We don’t use old converted fishing boats as we see this as a potential safety issue. Steel scuba diving boats are generally safer than old wooden boats due to their superior structural integrity, durability, and fire resistance. Unlike wood, steel hulls are less susceptible to rot, warping, or termite damage, which can compromise the vessel’s strength over time. Steel boats also offer better impact resistance and are more stable in rough seas, providing a safer platform for divers to gear up and enter the water. Additionally, steel is non-flammable, reducing the risk of onboard fires—an important safety consideration on any dive boats carrying compressed air and fuel.
Racha Noi Island scuba diving tour
Both Racha Noi Island and Racha Yai are located south of Phuket. Racha Noi is some distance away, however it tends to attract fewer dive boats to the many dive sites.
Racha Noi scuba diving season is often open to divers for most of the year and is also a good location for snorkeling lovers. Most Scuba diver training courses are completed at Racha Noi diving sites.
