Private SSI Open water Diver Course:

• The 3 day SSI program is fully supervised course by your personal dedicated private Instructor.
• You must be at least 10 years old, in good health and comfortable in water too deep in which to stand.

Open Water Diver Course Modules:

1. Dive theory –  complete and review the Knowledge development sections in the Open Water Diver Course manual; complete quizzes under the guidance of your private Instructor to verify understanding; complete the course ‘Final Exam’ with 75% or more questions correct. If you choose the Free eLearning with SSI we can monitor your progress via your free diver profile.
2. Confined Water skills practice – Learn the dive skills you will need to scuba dive. We have our own private scuba diving pool designed specifically for open water course students  – this means that there’s no commuting between the dive shop to a communal local shared pool – this cuts down and saves hours of being stuck in traffic and makes your day less stressful
3. Open Water skills mastery – Complete and review the diver training with 4 Open Water Dives on a Diving Boat.

This is your Private speedboat for your open water training dives it takes a maximum of 3 divers.

The boat is 3 times faster than any conventional diving boat meaning you save 3 to 4 hrs – we visit the best dive sites before the bigger boats arrive Morning departures ensure that you are not diving mid day when the sun is at it hottest.

Private 3 day course schedule for you or your small group.

Day 1

• 9.00 am meet your private instructor at our dedicated Scuba diving training facility to cover the course registration paperwork and go over the course theory.
• 10.00 am your instructor will help you select the free equipment you will use for the course.
• 10.30 am  You will start the confined water training session in our own purpose built dive pool skills – classroom, pool finish at
• 1.30 pm Stop for lunch or check into your Private bungalow.
• 2.30 pm complete the final open water course exam.
• 3 pm relax for the rest of the day

Day 2  – Half Day –  Private speed boat

• 7.30 Pick up at your Bungalow for your first 2 Open Water training dives
• 8.00 am meet your private instructor for a boat and safety briefing.
• 8.30 am depart for the 1st dive site –  transfers are 40 minutes on our private speed boat that takes a max of 3 divers.
• 9.15 am first dive (minimum 40 mins) max depth 12 meters
• 10.am move the boat to the second dive site you can swim or visit the beach
• 11.00 am Second training dive (minimum of 40 mins) max depth 12 meters
• 11.45 return back to Phuket
• 1.pm transfers back to your bungalow at Kata beach

Day 3  – Half Day Private speed boat

• 7.30 Pick up time for your 3rd & 4th Open Water training dive
• 8.00 am meet your private instructor for a boat and safety briefing.
• 8.30 am depart for the 1st dive site –  transfers are 40 minutes on our private speed boat that takes a max of 3 divers.
• 9.15 am 3rd open water dive (minimum 40 minute dive time) max depth 18m meters
• 10.am move the boat to the second dive site you can swim or visit the beach
• 11.00 am Second training dive (minimum 40 minute dive time) max depth 18m meters
• 11.45 return back to Phuket
• 1.pm transfers back to your bungalow at Kata beach to complete your open water diver certification
